A World of Tastes Awaits: Penfolds' Beyond the Flavours Culinary Exchange at 3-Michelin-starred Mirazur 

Penfolds, the renowned Australian winery, has launched an epic global thematic docu-film campaign called "Venture Beyond" and it includes a culinary exchange program like no other - "Beyond the Flavours". The whole concept revolves around exploring new cultures, techniques and taking the culinary industry to new heights by bringing together talented chefs from around the world and giving them the opportunity to learn “the best of every region”.

And the star of this culinary show? Chef Mauro Colagreco, the owner and head chef of the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, Mirazur, located in the picturesque town of Menton on the French Riviera. This restaurant is not just any restaurant, it's the No.1 restaurant in the world according to the 50 Best Restaurants 2019-2020.

In the gripping documentary film, Chef Mauro Colagreco opens up about his personal journey and shares his thoughts on fear, success, and the future. As he reflects on the rich history of Penfolds’ legacy, known for its courage, determination, and innovation, Colagreco discovers a remarkable parallel between his own path and that of the celebrated winery.

Another dish that perfectly embodies the philosophy of Mirazur is the persimmon accompanied by cream mixed with the 1976 Laberdolive Armagnac. The use of the 1976 vintage, the year in which Chef Mauro was born, adds a personal touch to the dish and highlights the chef's passion for his craft.
